Slowly stepping forward, Flashstar wearily collapsed near the center of camp. Her eyes were closed, for she had been gone three days without a wink of sleep. Where she had been, she had no idea. She was just glad to be back in her Clan. Knowing she didn't miss anything, she knew that no one would reject her because she had missed something important. Plus, she was captured by Twolegs and taken away by one of their monsters to a whole new Twolegplace and she could hardly find her way back. Remembering the fact that she didn't have a deputy, she sat back up again and groaned. I can't appoint one today, I can hardly even keep my eyes open! She muttered, mostly to herself.
Just then a cat came running into camp and crashed into her. Instantly on her paws, Flashstar cornered the cat beneath her grip. Who are you? Maybe she had missed something important. Beechpaw! The young cat squeaked, terrified. Why are you here? Beechpaw looked terrified as she lowered Flashstar's grip from her throat. Understanding, the leader moved it down to her chest. B-because I wanna join! Sighing in relief over the fact that she hadn't missed anything important, Flashstar completely loosened her grip and let the apprentice sit. What was wrong with your old Clan? Beechpaw shuddered. No one cared for how I felt when I was still in MeadowClan. They just said, 'oh look, it's an annoying she-cat, so let's go beat her up with emotions' pretty much. I grew sick of it and ran here. Flashstar nodded. But do you think you can get used to hunting here? Beechpaw replied, Yes, of course! I was just made an apprentice today.
Flashstar turned and weakly jumped onto the rock. All cats old enough to catch their own prey, gather here under the Fallen Tree for a Clan meeting! Looking around, she waited for the cats to gather.
