"Yes," said Flowingstar a little loudly, glad that at least some one was agreeing with her. Above her back, her silvery plume tail curled up briefly, signalling that it was time to move on. "Oh, I almost forgot," she said quickly. With a disapproving glance at Riverheart, she stalked off to the bush where she had spotted the vole earlier. This one didn't give much chase. She caught it on an outstretched claw and buried it with the crow and the mouse.
She was glad that this part of the patrol had ended, she couldn't see excactly why Riverheart was being so rude. She strode quickly down along the riverbank, and began looking for a good place to fish.

Riverheart and Silverstream followed close behind, listining for the scents and sounds of prey. Silverstream went towards the river to fish, while Riverheart followed the scent of a water vole nearby.

Cabbagemoon paced to the river he had always loved messing about here being as silly as he could bashing trees down and stuff he knew that infront of the leader he couldn't mess about like that. He looked in the river his eyes darting about in search for a fish he gave one quick strike and the fish was dead he placed it beside him and waited for another fishy to come by.

Flowingstar found a large projecting rock, just a few tail-lengths above the pristine surface of the water. She settled her thick-furred body into an awkward crouch on the rough gray-speckled stone and leaned out over the water as far as she dared. One milk-white whisker dipped into the river. She moved her head up a little and twitched the water off of it. As the ripples smoothed out, she waited carefully. She wanted nothing to alert the fish of her presence, even just a tiny whiskertip.
Carefully this time, she lowered her head toward the water again. The only fish she saw were tiny silver ones, barely even worth catching. Flowingstar was a patient cat, and fishing was her sport. Staring into the river, about two feet deep, she felt the hazy , shifting patterns of the water calm her, as they always did. A movement upstream caught her eye, and a slightly larger fish came into view. she focused herself and drew in a deep, satisfied breath. Patience always worked.
Flowingstar evaluated the fish's movement deftly, calculating the exact moment when it passed under her. She plunged her paw into the water, and felt rather than saw it connect with the fish's slippery form - she blinked her eyes shut for a moment to deflect the spray of water that splashed up. One of her hooked claws pierced the fish's side. She hung on and managed to get her whole paw wrapped around it. It squirmed against her grip. She darted in with her other paw and flipped it up onto the rock. It wqas easy to end the fish's suffering, with a barrage of smacks to its head. The scaly, oval-shaped body stopped flopping around, and the thin tail gave a few final twitches.
Before Flowingstar knew it- the fish was dead. She winced at the thought that she had killed a small creature, but the moment passed quickly. This was for her Clan. She lapped up a mouthful of water brickly. The thought p-assed warmly through her, lighting her inside. She loved RiverClan. She wanted to feed them. Surely the life of one fish was worth the well-being of her warriors. AS always, Flowingstar was incredibly proud of her cats.
